"Youth are a strategic priority for the RCMP. Not only are they the future of this country but also they are strong partners for us in connecting to their communities. The event is a fun filled day that exposes them to all the different aspects of policing. What flows from that are conversations that build trust and mutual respect. Ultimately that moves to ensure a stronger and more knitted community," Supt. Lise Crouch, Assistant Criminal Operations Officer, RCMP.
"Our commitment to youth continues in this valuable partnership with RCMP and the Masjid," said Bryan Larkin, Chief of Police, WRPS. "The ability to encourage and expose our young people to the duties, responsibilities and leadership of our profession, only strengthens our future as a community."
