SARNIA, ON, May 6, 2014 /CNW/ - The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) would like to make the public aware that over the next two weeks there will be marine training exercises conducted in the Sarnia area.
During these training exercises, uniformed members of the RCMP, in Rigid-Hulled Inflatable Boats (RHIBs), will be increasingly visible on the St. Clair River and southern parts of Lake Huron.
This developmental training will serve to enhance our members' ability to provide marine support in the RCMP's Border Integrity duties. For information on the RCMP's role in Border Integrity please visit: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/bi-if/index-eng.htm
