WHITBY, ON, Nov. 20, 2013 /CNW/ - The RCMP will be hosting a special "Women Only" Recruiting event on Sunday, November 24, in Whitby, Ontario. This presentation will be delivered by women, for women, and will focus on areas of interest to women.

After the presentation there will be a fitness demonstration of the Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (PARE). The PARE is a job related physical ability test. It is designed to simulate a critical incident where a police officer chases, controls and apprehends a suspect. Attendees will have an opportunity to try out the physical control portion of the test.
Attendees will be provided with all pertinent information on how to pursue a career with RCMP.
