TORONTO, Oct. 10, 2012 /CNW/ -
What: | Your old tires, dead batteries, used motor oil and oil filters don't belong in your blue bin. CAA South Central Ontario (CAA SCO) and Ontario Tire Stewardship (OTS) will take them off your hands for free and will make sure they are properly and safely recycled. It's all part of our 2012 RecycleDrive, a weeklong eco-friendly initiative, which runs from October 15-21 at 19 participating garages. |
New this year, CAA SCO and OTS will be awarding a Sustainable Revitalization package of $20,000 in landscaping greenery and innovative recycled tire products to a school near the garage that collects in the most tires. | |
