TORONTO, March 30 /CNW/ - Red Bull announces an exclusive performance by Canada's leading DJ's on one stage, hosted by Canada's fastest rising hip-hop artist, Drake, in partnership with Pink Mafia, Last Gang Entertainment and TMKO Lawyers at the legendary Majestic Theatre in St. John's, Newfoundland on April 17, 2010. Doors: 10PM.

Red Bull Heavy on the Right Coast is created in partnership with the only all- female event promotion company, Pink Mafia, Last Gang Entertainment and TMKO in order to bring the spirit of the Canadian music industry to St. John's, Newfoundland, in support of the 39th annual Juno Awards. "Ever since the Juno's were taken out of Toronto and held in St. John's in 2002, it's been THE town to beat from a celebration standpoint. Even though everyone involved in Heavy on the Right Coast has a stellar reputation for throwing the best parties in Canada, we know we have to bring our A-game if we're going to impress the Rock", says Anna Von Frances, Don of the Pink Mafia.

This one night only event will be hosted by Canada's breakout hip-hop/R&B sensation, Drake, with four Juno Awards nominations, including Single of the Year, New Artist of the Year, and two nominations for Rap Recording of the Year. The fastest rising newcomer in hip-hop has received multiple MTV VMA, MTVU and BET Awards nominations and wins, along with chartering recent success with his first single "Best I Ever Had," which was No.1 on Billboard Rap Charts and No.2 on Billboard Hot 100, accomplishments made without being signed to a label. After an intense bidding war, Drake signed to Aspire/Cash Money/Young Money.
