REGINA, Aug. 10, 2017 /CNW/ - Unifor members in Regina and their allies will demonstrate today against privatization of Crown corporations and public services.
"The Sask Party told voters during the election that the Crowns were safe, but they lied," said Joie Warnock, Unifor Western Region Director. "Bill 40 is a path to privatization but Brad Wall has no mandate to sell off precious public assets."

Thursday's action is part of a broader campaign called Stand Up For Your Crowns (www.myCrowns.ca). Among other sectors, Unifor represents thousands of Crown corporation workers at SaskTel, SaskEnergy, SaskPower, and SaskWater.
