MEDIA ADVISORY - REMEMBERANCE DAY - QUEBEC CITY'S MILITARY COMMUNITY TO
RECOLLECT SACRIFICES MADE
VALCARTIER GARRISON, QC, Nov. 10 /CNW Telbec/ - About 250 soldiers from 5 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group and from naval and land reserve units within Quebec City region will take part in the annual Remembrance Day Parade on November 11 in Quebec City.

Major Stéphane Gagné, 'A' Company Commander from 2 Battalion, Royal 22e Régiment, will command troops on parade. Several public figures and VIPs will take turns in order to lay wreaths in memory of the fallen soldiers who paid the price of their lives for their nation.
Represented Units and Formations during this parade are to include:
- 2 Battalion, Royal 22e Régiment (100 men guard)
- Members of the Naval Reserve (35 men guard)
- 5e Régiment d'artillerie légère du Canada
- 35 Canadian Brigade Group (Army Reserve component)
- Royal Canadian Mounted Police
- Royal Canadian Legion Members
- Veterans Affairs of Canada Association members
