Media Advisory - REMINDER: Earth Hour is this Saturday at 8:30pm
TORONTO, March 21, 2013 /CNW/ - Toronto Hydro-Electric System Limited ("Toronto Hydro") is encouraging customers to power down for Earth Hour this Saturday, March 23, from 8:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
As part of its commitment to public safety, Toronto Hydro asks that customers remember to consider safety first. Only turn off non-essential lighting. And, if using candles, do not leave them unattended.
Toronto Hydro representatives will be monitoring electricity use in Toronto before, during and after Earth Hour this Saturday. Follow @torontohydro on Twitter for live updates.
