ORILLIA, ON, Dec. 10, 2018 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit tomorrow as they outline the results of a multi-jurisdictional investigation.
OPP Deputy Commissioner Rick BARNUM and representatives from the Durham Regional Police Service, Halton Regional Police Service, Hamilton Police Service, Niagara Regional Police Service, Peel Regional Police Service and Toronto Police Service will provide details of an eight-month investigation into illegal firearms, drug trafficking, and proceeds of crime in the Greater Golden Horseshoe area of southern Ontario.
