Media Advisory - River Rock Casino Resort Proudly Supports BC Children's
Hospital Miracle Weekend 2010

RICHMOND, BC, June 2 /CNW/ - In support of the BC Children's Hospital Miracle Weekend Campaign, the River Rock Casino Resort has partnered with Feng Shui Master Sherman Tai and raised $11,256.42 for the foundation.

Over $5,000 was raised by Sherman Tai during the Chinese New Year at the River Rock Casino Resort where he provided his fortune telling services. To further support this great initiative, the River Rock Casino Resort matched Tai's donation and was able to bring the total to a new high.

The 2010 Chinese-Canadian Miracle Weekend organized by BC Children's Hospital Foundation and the Asian Canadian community is proudly entering their 22nd year. "Although the recession is still in recovery stage during this year's campaign, we are very happy to receive all the local community support for this event," said Mena Wong, Committee Co-Chair 2010 Chinese-Canadian Miracle Weekend. "We would like to thank the River Rock Casino Resort and Master Sherman Tai for being a strong supporter in this campaign, promoting the importance of children's health."

All proceeds will be allocated for the BC Children's Hospital and their upcoming construction projects.
