The Royal Runs November 5th - 14th, 2010
TORONTO, Nov. 7 /CNW/ - Today, Sunday, November 7, The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair hosts The Royal Rodeo - a sporting event filled with excitement and invigoration you can feel as soon as you step into The Ricoh Coliseum ring.
The Royal Rodeo features four rodeo elements, 45 athletes - and that's just counting the cowboys and cowgirls - and a show that's sure to entertain.
The Rodeo features Barrel Racing, Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding and the toughest sport in the world, Bull Riding. Calgary Stampede Icon and Pick-Up Man, Wade Rempel, will be on hand to rescue bareback and saddle bronc riders off the backs of their bucking horses. While veteran rodeo clown, Shorty Leggs, fights the bulls to keep the cowboys safe.
From Wrangler jeans to Stetson hats, rodeo riders are dressed to impress before they head into the ring to compete. With over $25,000 in prize money up for grabs - this is no small competition. Put on your wild-west best and mosey on down to the Ontario Toyota Dealers Royal Rodeo beginning at 1:00 PM.
To watch the Royal Rodeo, guests must purchase Horse Show tickets, which include general admission to all other areas of The Royal.
