What: As a proud sponsor of the Governor General's Performing Arts Awards (GGPAA) and the sole manufacturer of its laureate medals, the Mint is pleased to showcase its craftsmanship and leadership in the field of medal production by displaying genuine Vancouver 2010 athlete medals at the 2010 GGPAA Gala hosted at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. The medals will be shown to guests attending the Gala by Mint employees who had the unique privilege of personally working on the Vancouver 2010 medals. A selection of the Mint's latest gold and silver collector coins will also be on display. This is a one-night-only opportunity for patrons of the arts to witness these celebrated masterpieces at the National Arts Centre.
