MEDIA ADVISORY - ROYAL CANADIAN MINT TO UNVEIL 2010 25-CENT POPPY COIN TO
THANK CANADA'S VETERANS ON 65TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE END OF SECOND WORLD WAR

OTTAWA, Oct. 22 /CNW/ - 

What:	The Royal Canadian Mint's newest coloured circulation coin; the 2010 25-cent poppy circulation coin, will soon circulate as a national homage to Canada's war veterans as the world marks the 65^th anniversary of the Second World War. This coin will be unveiled before invited guests from the Royal Canadian Legion, the Canadian Forces and the Government of Canada, at a special ceremony at the Belleville Armouries.
	The ceremony will be followed by a public coin exchange where guests will be invited to trade their change for the 2010 25-cent poppy circulation coin.
