OTTAWA, Nov. 9, 2016 /CNW/ - The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, will deliver an address to the Canadian Science Policy Conference (CSPC). Her speech will highlight advances made in the science portfolio during her first year in office, including investments in research and talent, and measures to promote greater transparency, openness and diversity in the scientific community.
Minister Duncan will also present the 2016 Canadian Science Policy Awards of Excellence in the Youth Category. Following her remarks, she will be interviewed by CSPC President Mehrdad Hariri. The interview will be posted on the CSPC website.
The Canadian Science Policy Conference is an annual event that brings together scientists, industry representatives, policy researchers and key opinion leaders to discuss current and emerging issues in national science, technology and innovation policy.
