TORONTO, May 26, 2017 /CNW/ - The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, will address attendees of the Federation of Humanities and Social Sciences congress during the Canada Prizes 2017 award ceremony. The Minister will deliver remarks on the importance of inclusion, equity and diversity in all scientific and scholarly disciplines.
The ceremony takes place as part of Congress 2017 and will celebrate authors who have made a significant impact on the social sciences and humanities. Now in its 86th year, Congress is Canada's largest gathering of scholars and brings together academics, researchers, policy-makers and practitioners.
