Approximately 550 youth and adults will attend this year's Centennial Cub Jamboree.
Celebrating 100 years of Scouting in Ontario, youth will participate in a variety of activities and programs geared at allowing them to have fun while learning valuable skills and earning requirements for badges & stars within the Cub Program.
There will be a choice of 100 activities for the youth to participate in (in celebration of 100 years of Scouting in Ontario). On Celebration Day, our special guest will be Scouts Canada's Chief Commissioner and Chair of the Board of Governors, Steve Kent. Steve is the youngest Chief Commissioner in Canadian history, is currently a Member of the Legislature in Newfoundland/Labrador, and former youngest mayor of Mount Pearl, NL/Labrador. He is galvanizing the Scouting Movement to double its membership over the next few years, and speaks nationwide on the upcoming exciting partnerships and new ventures for Scouting in Canada. He is pleased to be available for media interviews.
