Media Advisory - SEIU Healthcare president Sharleen Stewart to announce homecare strike plan
TORONTO, Dec. 10, 2013 /CNW/ - Sharleen Stewart, president of SEIU Healthcare, will announce plans this morning for a province-wide strike involving 4,500 Personal Support Workers.
The workers recently voted to reject a tentative agreement with Red Cross Care Partners, the largest homecare agency in Ontario.
Ms. Stewart will make her announcement today at the Queen's Park Media Studio at 9 a.m.
