events throughout Canada in support of March Fraud Prevention Month

Canadians can bring all the documents they can carry for safe destruction

    WHAT:     Community members are invited to bring confidential personal
              documents for free, safe destruction at Community Shred events,
              as part of March Fraud Prevention Month. Shred-it mobile
              shredding trucks will be on-site at select PostNet locations
              nationwide, allowing consumers to shred as many documents as
              they can carry. Participants are encouraged to discuss the
              risks of identity theft and fraud with attending Shred-it
              experts and educate themselves about information security
              measures and best practices.

              Agenda for the day:
                 -   Free document shredding for Canadians to reduce the
                     risks of identity theft and fraud and build awareness of
                     effective information security measures
                 -   Tips for community members on how to make sure their
                     personal information is secure
