Media Advisory - Sinn Féin's David Cullinane TD to brief Canadian MPs on impact of Brexit on Ireland
OTTAWA, Sept. 25, 2017 /CNW/ - Sinn Féin's spokesperson on Brexit, David Cullinane, TD will brief Canadian MPs on Brexit's impact on Ireland and the peace process in a visit to Ottawa on Tuesday, September 26 and Wednesday, September 27.
The Irish politician will raise his party's concerns that Brexit will have a devastating impact on Ireland generally, and the Good Friday Agreement, in particular. Mr. Cullinane seeks Canadian support for Sinn Féin's call for special status for the north of Ireland within the European Union.
