Media Advisory - Snow Plow Safety Campaign in Full Swing

TORONTO, Feb. 7, 2013 /CNW/ - With Southern Ontario bracing for a major snow storm, drivers are being urged to Let Snow Plows Lead the Way.  As part of its snow plow safety awareness campaign, the Ontario Road Builders' Association (ORBA) is reminding drivers of the following safety tips:

• Slow down, never pass or drive beside a snow plow
• Keep a safe distance behind working snow plows
• When approaching a snow plow from the opposite direction, stay right, allow enough space for the plow to operate safely
