Media Advisory - So, we've voted for the Liberal infrastructure plan - now what? Jack Mintz to release three new reports on how to get major infrastructure right in Canada
OTTAWA, Oct. 29, 2015 /CNW/ - A major plank in the Liberal Party of Canada election platform was a significant increase in spending on infrastructure. The stated goal was to help ease the infrastructure deficit, while also providing economic stimulus.
Those are good goals. But does anyone really know the impact of infrastructure spending on the economy? How deep is the so-called infrastructure deficit? How should infrastructure funding be targeted to do the most good? And, is there a whole other way to fund needed infrastructure?
These questions will be tackled head-on by Jack Mintz as he releases three timely and relevant studies into infrastructure spending in Canada.
