CLBC is the crown agency responsible for services to adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Last month the provincial government quietly reappointed the CLBC board amid revelations that senior executives were paid excessive bonuses.
CLBC has been in the spotlight for its failure to meet the needs of adults with developmental disabilities, transitioning youth and families. CLBC's management has doubled in the ten years since its inception. The agency has also been mired in allegations of misconduct and conflict of interest.
