Generous contribution to the construction project
The construction of the new Canada Shriners Hospital is well under way and is expected to be completed by the fall of 2015. These new facilities will allow specialists to diagnose and treat more children with complex orthopaedic conditions coming to us from communities across Canada. The new hospital will feature increased space dedicated to research laboratories and clinical care activities in order to continue to develop leading edge treatments for children with complex orthopedic conditions. The new hospital environment will be focused on families with the additional family rooms on each level, increased space allotted to rehabilitation and ambulatory care services, day treatment and day surgery centers.
