MEDIA ADVISORY - Solidarity Tour with Québec Students hits Nine Cities
TORONTO, July 12, 2012 /CNW/ - Student representatives from Québec will join their counterparts from Ontario for a series of events to share their experiences opposing tuition fee increases. For almost 150 days, Québec students have been on strike to oppose tuition fee hikes proposed by the Charest government.
Over the next eight days, members of the Coalition large de l'Association pour une solidarité syndicale étudiante, among others will be speaking to students, faculty and community members in nine different cities.
