Official Launch of Speak Up for Kids Toronto Campaign |
Two former youth in care will use their voices as spoken word poets to support a public awareness campaign to remind Torontonians that everyone has a role to play in protecting children and youth from abuse and neglect. Speak Up for Kids Toronto is a collaborative venture between Toronto's four Children's Aid Societies, Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre and the Toronto Police Service. The launch of this campaign coincides with Child Abuse Prevention Month, which is observed across Canada in October. |
