OTTAWA, May 28 /CNW/ - The National Press Club of Canada Foundation will host the 2010 Spirit of Canada Gala at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Ottawa with emcee Don Newman, guest speaker the Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration, and Multiculturalism and special guests Senator Mike Duffy and Rosemary Thompson.
WHAT: The Spirit of Canada is a celebration of journalism as a
fundamental underpinning of our democracy. At the heart of great
journalism must be a commitment to honesty, integrity and
fairness, as these qualities epitomize the Spirit of Canada.
