Media Advisory - Students Available to Comment on Fair Elections Act Injunction Decision
OTTAWA, July 17, 2015 /CNW/ - Students are available to comment on the decision of the Ontario Superior Court in the request for injunction against key provisions of the Fair Elections Act.
The injunction is part of a larger legal challenge by the Canadian Federation of Students and the Council of Canadians. If granted, the injunction will allows Canadians to use their Voter Information Cards, along with another piece of authorized ID, to prove their eligibility to vote.
