TORONTO/OTTAWA, April 8, 2013 /CNW/ - The Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario will be launching a series of tools to assist students' unions and campus organizations in addressing sexual assault at Ontario's colleges and universities. Launches will take place in Toronto and Ottawa.

FACTS ON SEXUAL VIOLENCE ON CAMPUS:
- Four out of five female undergraduate students have been victims of violence in a dating relationship
- More than 80 per cent of rapes that occur on college and university campuses are committed by someone known to the victim. Half occur on dates.
- Women aged 18 to 24 experience the highest rates of sexual violence in Canada.
The Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario is the largest student organization in Ontario, uniting more than 300,000 college, undergraduate and graduate students in all regions of the province.
