Media Advisory - Students to Comment on Tuition Fees Survey

OTTAWA , Oct. 19 /CNW Telbec/ - Representatives of the Canadian Federation of Students will be available for comment following the release of Statistics Canada's annual tuition fee survey on the morning of Tuesday, October 20 .

The Canadian Federation of Students recently published policy document titled "Canada's Education Action Plan." The Plan contains recommendations to improve the affordability of universities and colleges, reduce student debt, build research capacity, increase innovation, and ensure access to higher education for Aboriginal peoples.

The Canadian Federation of Students is composed of over one-half million students across the country from more than 80 university and college students' unions. Post-secondary students in Canada have been represented by the Canadian Federation of Students and its predecessor organisations since 1927.
