Media Advisory - Supporting safe and successful reintegration: Correctional Service of Canada invites media to tour local community corrections facilities Français
OTTAWA, June 12, 2017 /CNW/ - The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC), in collaboration with its partners, is inviting the media to tour two of Moncton's community corrections facilities to learn more about how we help offenders return to the community safely and successfully. The tour will include a visit to:
- CORCAN Community Industries, a CSC woodworking shop and warehouse that employs and trains offenders on release
- Cannell House, a halfway house run by Atlantic Human Services, Inc.
Tours will be offered at:
- 9:00 a.m. (please arrive at CORCAN Community Industries for 8:45 a.m.)
- 1:00 p.m. (please arrive at CORCAN Community Industries for 12:45 p.m.)

Second location: Cannell House
122 Church St., Moncton, N.B.
Please note the tours will take approximately 1.5 hours to complete, and will require travel between two separate locations.
Visitor parking is available at CORCAN Community Industries. On-street parking is available near Cannell House.
All media will be required to provide government-issued identification.
