Media Advisory - Take part in the official announcement of the transfer of
Pointe-du-Moulin and Silo No. 5 to Canada Lands Company

MONTRÉAL, Oct. 28 /CNW/ - The media is invited to attend a press conference during which Canada Lands Company (CLC) will announce that effective November 1, 2010 it will become the official owner of Pointe-du-Moulin and its Silo No. 5 complex located on the site. Present at the press conference will be Mark B. Laroche, President and CEO of CLC; The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister responsible for Montréal; Gérald Tremblay, Mayor of Montréal; and Sylvie Vachon, President and CEO of the Montréal Port Authority.

The Pointe-du-Moulin sector is a site of great historical value and an integral part of Montréal's New Harbourfront Initiative. It is a prime site for a key urban project. At the event, CLC will talk about its redevelopment philosophy and initial vision for the site. Media will have access to the ground floor of Elevator B, the oldest part of the Silo No. 5 complex, for a photo opportunity.
