UNITE HERE Canada will release a report that details the aggressive offshore tax practices by the family who owns BC real estate giant Larco. Dennis Howlett, executive of Canadians for Tax Fairness joins an information picket calling on Minister of National Revenue Kerry-Lynne Findlay to investigate the government landlord's ties to offshore tax havens in British Virgin Islands and Liechtenstein. While there is no evidence of any wrong-doing by Larco or its owners, the use of offshore tax havens by a government partner merits scrutiny. |
