Media Advisory - Taxpayers' Ombudsman to meet with tax professionals, community groups and CRA employees during regional visit in Saskatchewan
OTTAWA, Feb. 9, 2018 /CNW/ - The Taxpayers' Ombudsman, Sherra Profit, will undertake a regional visit to Saskatoon and Prince Albert from February 13 to 14, 2018.
"As part of my national outreach effort to raise the awareness of my Office and to gather feedback from tax professionals and community groups, I wanted to visit Saskatchewan to hear if Saskatchewanians had any specific challenges when dealing with the Canada Revenue Agency," said the Taxpayers' Ombudsman.
In Saskatoon, the Ombudsman will meet with Canada Revenue Agency's Saskatchewan Tax Service Office employees to gain insight on challenges they may encounter in providing service to taxpayers.
Then the Ombudsman's visit heads to Prince Albert where a meeting with the Prince Albert & District Chamber of Commerce and the Prince Albert chapter of the Chartered Professional Accountants. Lastly, the tour ends with a meeting with the River Bank Development Corporation to discuss Prince Albert community needs.
The Ombudsman will have media availability throughout her visit.
