Media Advisory - TD Canada Trust celebrates re-opening of High River branch

A donation announcement will be made in support of Sheppard Family Park Society

HIGH RIVER, AB, Oct. 31, 2013 /CNW/ - This Friday, November 1, 2013 TD Canada Trust will celebrate the re-opening of the High River branch following the June flood. After operating from a temporary location during reconstruction, TD Canada Trust at 315 MacLeod Trail has been restored to full-service downtown location to serve the community of High River.

"We've been inspired and humbled to be part of the community of High River as the town rallied together following the flood," says Monique Bateman, Senior Vice President, TD Canada Trust, Prairie Region. "So much has been accomplished since, but we know there's still a lot of work to be done and TD is here to help. What is most important now, is to continue supporting residents and business owners so they can get back in their homes and running their businesses."

Activities will include draw prizes, refreshments, special guest appearances and a donation announcement to Sheppard Family Park Society. Most of Sheppard Family Park's buildings and gardens were damaged during the flood. TD's donation will support remediation efforts.
