Canada Post celebrates its eighth Canada 150 stamp unveiling in Winnipeg
WINNIPEG, May 26, 2017 /CNW/ - Canada Post will unveil the eighth of 10 special Canada 150 commemorative stamps, this one honouring a cherished event that is one of the country's unforgettable moments since Canada's centennial in 1967.

The 10 stamps are being unveiled at separate events across the country until June 1. As part of Canada Post's iconic national stamp program, each one commemorates a Canadian achievement, milestone or unforgettable moment from the past 50 years.
So far, Canada Post has unveiled Expo 67, the patriation of the Constitution and creation of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Canadarm, Marriage Equality, the Trans-Canada Highway, and Marathon of Hope as the first seven celebratory moments of 10 in its Canada 150 program.
