Media advisory - Ted and Loretta Foster Care Transition Program Launch Event
OTTAWA, Feb. 9, 2016 /CNW/ - The National Children's Aid Foundation (CAF) has partnered with the Children's Aid Foundation of Ottawa (CAFO) along with 20 other social services organizations across the country to implement the 'Ted and Loretta Rogers Foster Care Transition Program'. The Program provides comfort kits or backpacks filled with a range of age and cultural-specific items (such as teddy bears, blankets, books, journals, gift cards) and supplies to children and youth coming into care, to aid in their comfort, well-being and sense of security.
On February 11th, at 10:00am, various community partners, organizations and individuals across Ottawa will come together to officially launch this program.
