Montréal Museums Day (MMD) is a very popular "open house" event, a friendly and festive celebration. The goal is to make Montréal museums better known and more popular with Montrealers. It also reflects museums' interest in sharing, innovating and applying new technologies and social media to convey their commitment and passion. Montréal Museums Day makes culture and knowledge more accessible, attracting from 90,000 to 120,000 visitors in a single day every spring.
MMD is presented by Quebecor, in co-operation with the STM and many other partners.
