Media Advisory - The Conference Board of Canada to Host Business Outlook Event in Kitchener-Cambridge-Waterloo
WATERLOO, ON, Sept. 5, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Economic growth in Kitchener-Cambridge-Waterloo has outpaced that of Ontario for 10 of the last 11 years but growth is expected to decelerate this year. High-tech and auto-related manufacturing, along with a strong knowledge-based services sector are among the headline industries that drive the region's economy. However, global economic uncertainty will challenge business leaders and policy-makers.
The Conference Board of Canada's Chief Economist, Craig Alexander, and senior business leaders will discuss the factors driving the outlook for the province and region at the 2017 Waterloo Region Business Outlook.
