WINNIPEG, Nov. 6, 2017 /CNW/ - With GDP growth of just over 2% in 2017, and continued growth of just under 2% forecast for 2018, Manitoba's economy will continue to secure its reputation as a steady performer. The province will see a strong performance in its construction sector, a rebound in agriculture and stable domestic demand to lift the labour markets and increase disposable income.
The Honourable Cameron Friesen, Minister, Manitoba Finance will join The Conference Board of Canada's Deputy Chief Economist, Pedro Antunes, to discuss the issues underpinning the Manitoba economy, from a global, national, provincial and local perspective at the Western Business Outlook 2018: Manitoba, presented in partnership with the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce.
