Media Advisory - The Dove Self-Esteem Fund to Unveil a New Self Esteem
Movement
TORONTO, June 23 /CNW/ - The Dove Self-Esteem Fund has joined up with the G(irls)20 Summit to host "One Girl Can: A Discussion on Mentorship" and to unveil a movement in support of healthy self-esteem amongst girls and women.
The 21 delegates in Toronto for the G(irls)20 Summit, ranging in age from 18-20, will gather to discuss the power of intergenerational leadership and develop actionable steps to encourage female leadership in their respective countries.
Dove Self-Esteem Fund research has found that more than 70 per cent of girls globally refrain from participating in daily activities such as sharing their opinion or attending a social event, due to low self-esteem. But research also indicates a female role model has the power to positively shape the lives of women and girls by helping them have a healthy self-esteem and reach their full personal potential in life.
We invite you to join us to learn the actionable outcomes of this discussion on female leadership and the launch of an initiative that encourages women to unite on a specific self-esteem objective.
