Governor's Suite for special speaking engagement
TORONTO, May 10 /CNW/ - On Tuesday, May 11th, the Honourable David C. Onley will welcome Mr. Rick Hansen to the Lieutenant Governor's Suite where Mr. Hansen will give a presentation to members of the accessibility community with which His Honour has worked.

"As Mr. Hansen marks a quarter century of extraordinary achievement in the area of spinal cord research, he has a compelling story to tell and has inspired millions of people around the globe with his message. I am delighted that representatives from Ontario's accessibility community will have a unique opportunity to meet with and hear him speak."
Rick Hansen recently celebrated the 25th Anniversary of his "Man in Motion World Tour" which took him through 34 countries on four continents, and raised $26 million for spinal cord research and treatment. In the years since, the Rick Hansen Foundation has generated hundreds of millions of dollars for spinal cord injury programs and initiatives, including the International Collaboration on Repair Discoveries (iCORD), the largest such research facility in the world.
