celebrate a brighter future
KANEHSATÀ:KE, QC, July 9 /CNW Telbec/ - On July 11, this Sunday, Kanehsatà:ke will be holding a series of activities starting as early as 4:00 a.m. Everyone is invited to participate in this event during which they will have the opportunity to exchange with their Mohawk neighbours. Except for the Sunrise Ceremony, this is a photos and interviews opportunity for the journalists who are also welcome to attend a statement by the Grand Chief of Kanehsatà:ke, Paul Sohenrise Nicholas, then the book launch of "À l'orée des bois" ("At the wood edge" translation by Francine Lemay, the sister of Corporal Marcel Lemay). A Lacrosse game, dancers and drummers are also part of the program schedule, available on demand.
