What: | The first of three 25-cent coins, announced last October as part of a series of 2011-dated commemorative circulation coins celebrating Canada's legendary nature, will circulate nation-wide on January 16, 2012 and the Royal Canadian Mint is hosting a coin exchange for the general public at its Vancouver boutique. As the Mint has employed its unique technology to colour half of the 12.5 million coins featuring this theme, some of the coins exchanged at this event will be coloured. |
