Remembrance Day
, The Royal Agricultural
Winter Fair
has two very special ceremonies planned for today - one in the morning and one in the evening - and encourages adults and children alike to attend, and reflect on the Canadian military serving in
Afghanistan
.
At
10:30 am
in The Spirit of The Horse Ring, The Royal Agricultural
Winter Fair
will host a special
Remembrance Day
Service.
The
Royal Fair
will continue to honour our Canadian veterans into the evening with a
Remembrance Day
Memorial Service taking place in The Ricoh Coliseum at
6:45 pm
. This extraordinary
Remembrance Day
Horse Show will pay tribute to Afghan vets, supported by
Major General Tom Lawson
. The Royal will also show a film to support the Canadian Military Families Fund.
Following the film, guests will be treated to an equestrian extravaganza, where equestrian greats
Ian Millar
and
Michael Whitaker
, as well as other Top International Show Jumpers will compete for the
$100,000
CN FEI World Cup Jumper Grand Prix.
