One in three Albertans believe they have been approached with a possible fraudulent investment. |
March is Fraud Prevention Month across Canada, and to increase awareness of investment fraud, the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) will be taking over the Mighty Skillet food truck to offer Calgarians a free lunch and educational resources on Thursday, March 13. |

The campaign will focus on educating the public on the concept that "there's no such thing as a free lunch" when it comes to investing, while highlighting the key steps anyone can take to decrease their chances of becoming a victim of investment fraud. |
