March is Fraud Prevention Month across Canada, and to increase awareness of investment fraud, the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) will be taking over the Smokehouse BBQ food truck to offer Edmontonians a free lunch and educational resources on Wednesday, March 19. | |
The campaign will focus on educating the public on the concept that "there's no such thing as a free lunch" when it comes to investing, while highlighting the key steps anyone can take to decrease their chances of becoming a victim of investment fraud. | |
