TORONTO, Sept. 17, 2012 /CNW/ - The CAW will be giving an update on the auto negotiations at a press conference this afternoon, Monday September 17, at 4 p.m., downtown Toronto.

Yesterday the CAW announced it would be focusing its efforts on Ford to reach a tentative agreement first. The deadline is today, September 17 at 11:59 p.m. Talks kicked off on August 14-15 in Toronto.

The CAW represents approximately 21,000 workers at General Motors, Ford and Chrysler.
