The Royal Runs November 5th - 14th, 2010
TORONTO, Nov. 14 /CNW/ - For the first time ever on Sunday, November 14th, The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair hosts a celebrity cattle sorting competition with NHL stars Wendel Clark and Curtis Joseph, and Amber Marshall of CBC's Heartland. Wendel, Curtis and Amber will test their skills as ranch hands, as they compete to sort numbered cattle into a pen in the shortest amount of time. Part of The Royal's all-new Woof and Hoof, this competition is sure to have fairgoers on the edge of their seat - or saddle.
The Royal's Woof and Hoof also features the ALL-NEW Mini Chuckwagon Races and The Royal's Invitational Trick Riding Championship - a unique competition comparable to acrobatics on horseback.
Rodeo Clown Shorty Leggs will bid farewell at his last appearance as a rodeo clown; dogs pair up with horses in the Equine versus Canine Barrel Racing.
Visitors interested in seeing the show can purchase Horse Show tickets, which include general admission to all other areas of The Royal.
