Media Advisory - TORONTO 2015 Games Mascot Launch

The official mascot will be introduced to the world on July 17

TORONTO, July 12, 2013 /CNW/ - The TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015) invites the media to cover the unveiling of the official mascot for the 2015 Games. The mascot will be unveiled in front of thousands of children during KIDS' CBC DAYS on July 17 at 2:15 p.m.

Unveiling and Stage Performance

When:					Wednesday, July 17, 2013 2:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. (ET)
Where:					Canadian Broadcasting Centre (CBC) 250 Front Street West (main floor atrium) Toronto, Ontario
Who:					The official mascot for the TORONTO 2015 Games Rosie MacLennan, Olympic and Pan Am gold medallist, trampoline Tyler Miller, Paralympic gold medallist and Parapan Am bronze medallist, wheelchair  basketball

Media kits will be available starting at 2:30 p.m. at the media desk located inside the Front Street entrance.

A meet and greet with the mascot and the general public will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Interview opportunities with TO2015 representatives, the winning design group and other guests will be available at 3:00 p.m. during the media reception.

Photography/videography
Media can take photos and video recording during the stage performance that begins at 2:15 p.m. , the meet-and-greet opportunity beginning at 2:30 p.m. or during the reception at 3:00 p.m.
