Media Advisory - TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games Torch Relay to Celebrate in Kingston, Lennox and Addington County, Hastings County and Belleville on July 3

Pan Am flame to visit the Odessa Agricultural Society, evening celebration at West Zwick's Island Park in Belleville

TORONTO, July 1, 2015 /CNW/ - On Friday, July 3, Day 34 of the Pan Am Games Torch Relay, presented by President's Choice® and OLG, the Pan Am flame will take part in the Calgary Stampede Parade before visiting CFB Kingston, Kingston, Odessa, Napanee, Deseronto and Belleville. 

The Pan Am flame will be carried by several torchbearers during the Calgary Parade Stampede before it travels back to Southeastern. After a community celebration at CFB Kingston, the flame will travel through the streets of Kingston before departing for Odessa. The flame will then visit the Odessa Agricultural Society before heading to Napanee to visit Market Square and then ride on an antique fire truck.  In the late afternoon, the Pan Am flame will also visit Deseronto before arriving at the evening celebration in Belleville where community torchbearer, Kenzo Danzano, will light the cauldron.

CFB Kingston – 1:39 p.m. (ET) (20 Craftsman Boulevard, Kingston)

• Community torchbearer Alexandra Wright, will arrive at 3 p.m. carrying the Pan Am flame.

Napanee Market Square – (124 John Street, Napanee)

• June Lemieux will arrive at 3:50 p.m. carrying the Pan Am flame.

Antique Fire Truck Segment –4 p.m. (ET) (276 Lennox and Addington County Road 41, to 438 Centre Street North, Napanee)

Deseronto Town Hall – (331 Main Street, Deseronto)

Evening celebration:

• Community torchbearer Kenzo Danzano will arrive at 7 p.m. carrying the Pan Am flame and will light the community cauldron.
